How Long Mayonaise In Little Packets

Sunday 12 July:

the early afternoon I arrived in Kuala Lumpur on or at least at the airport. From there I had booked the shuttle into town, and I was not prepared that this would need 1:15 hours. Since I was a little doubt on whether there really I was sitting in the right bus. Finally, I came but to the bus station. Within the city are the so-called monorail, an elevated monorail that runs through the city center.
arrived at the hostel until I rested for a while and enjoyed the uncensored Internet in Malaysia. Later I got hungry and, ideally, I learned in that moment, my roommate know, a Canadian, what I went with the dinner. On the menu, I discovered by chance "Bullfrog" and thought I must try now easy. And honestly, if you do not know that the frog, one would think it's chicken. It tastes good anyway.
Since I had neither the time nor the inclination in a grand tour through the city, I did after eating only a quick trip to Chinatown, where I expected the market to find a few things for Work Camp needed were, like a sleeping bag. I found what I was unfortunately not, but a T-shirt was in there after all.
Then I went back to the hostel where I was surfing the Internet and something finally went to sleep, because the next morning I had to get up early again, after I knew how long it took the shuttle to the airport for my flight to Chiang Mai (Thailand) was already at 10 40 Clock.

My impression of Kuala Lumpur was certainly different than I expected. In Malaysia, there are a large Muslim majority and so many Muslims everywhere. But just in KL are thronged with people of different races and many Europeans and Americans, what surprised me somewhat. For one am already excited to see more of KL when I come again in August.

Next stop was Chiang Rai in Thailand now, where I would spend 2 weeks in a work camp and waited again to a new culture, a new country and new people to me.
