Wednesday came a pleasant surprise: Yi-Chiun - a college friend of the Chinese language course in Linz - signed up on Facebook, that he also grad in Taipei, and so to speak, was in the neighborhood. Since I already knew no one in Taipei, which was ideal and we set for Friday in the same meet.
On Thursday I was Martin - accompany the evening to an official event - my new colleagues. The opportunity I had of course not escape me. It related to an event organized by the Bavarian Tourism in cooperation with the Tyrolean Tourist Office, where a lot of other important people invited from the business were. Was certainly an interesting evening and food and wine was free :-)
On Friday Then I hooked up as arranged by Yi-Chiun and his Taiwanese friend Irene to dinner at an Australian restaurant, where he still like me some other friends introduced. Then we went to a movie, "Inglorious Basterds" look - a really good film with top cast and a lot of German * lol * - and then we looked more at a bar near the Taipei 101 and ended up in the Roxy Roots ".
