Well, so I was back in Taiwan, though not in the familiar, comfortable 台南 Tainan, but in the bustling capital of Taipei 台北! Was kind ever funny in the bus from the airport to Taipei to sit and realize it time that you back "home" is. But then came another feeling on almost all were gone! Throughout the familiar environment and friends, especially Sarah and John, that I was almost every day together. After I sent the first SMS that I was back again, was very good news: Jennifer would come to Taipei this weekend.
evening (Saturday ) I finally came in the Ho (s) on tel, which was my home has been posted. I was disappointed with only a little bit, because for 13,000 NT (approximately 275 euros) per month for the room quite small and was unlikely to visit the place. After I then just relax a bit at the sudden I got was surprisingly a call on Rooms Phone: Philip - my predecessor as a trainee on the AHST Taipei. Spontaneously we were still about 21:00 that evening and a few beers. When he threw after only the day before departure and on occasion I was able to obtain some valuable information ... * Hehe *
Sunday:
Just before lunch I had a date with Jennifer. The first time, then accompanied me to an absolutely important dates: hairdresser!
then become the next urgent item on the agenda: Lunch:
where we first went to the movies:
Then we went to Carrefour (in Chinese 家 乐 芙 Jialefu - again translated phonetically) to shop for my new home a bit.
With a large shopping bag went through Ximending to the nearest MRT station. On the way we bought another Snack made and the acquaintance with a confiding Squirrel:
separated in the MRT back our way and I went right back to my apartment, the min conveniently grade by 2 from the nearest MRT station is located.
Monday: First day of work
Well, first day of work ... What's there to say? Was actually relatively quiet for a 1st Working day, except that I had got the bus one stop too early (because the very front stood in the bus, where you can hear any announcements and do not read the stations) and can therefore 10 min longer had to go - and where the sun is burning mercilessly down in the morning. Here on the way to work: in the right golden building in the 6th Stock (in Austria: 5th floor) is my work:
had I first course, a serious opening meeting with the boss, where I was made aware of things like that I road border crossing in Taiwan when to be careful, watch out for the Taiwanese girls must ensure that not too affectionate to be, and of course what tasks are waiting for me. Working Mon to Fri from 8:30 am to 17:00. My first job was (for the whole week), I summarize two reports and if necessary update - one on "representative award in Taiwan," the other "property and receivables. Both, of course, very exciting :-)
in time we went home at 17:00, where I had arranged to meet again shortly afterwards with Jen, which was one more day to stay longer in Taipei. I knew even a nice teppanyaki restaurant near where we were going then. Tepanyaki actually comes from Japan, but is absolutely entertaining and of course delicious, but also a bit noisy, because the food is prepared right before your eyes on a hot plate:
And the food is then placed on an aluminum foil on the hot plate . Here we see only the fried cabbage, but this was still a serving of each bean sprouts, goat and beef, and rice, of course:
power back in my apartment I Jen and me my new mixer a fresh watermelon juice. Since fruit juice in Taipei unfortunately killed 2 - to 4-times more expensive than in Tainan, I decided to upgrade its own products * g *:
The times were now the first 3 days!
And my two lovely Taiwanese ladies in the office Carol (left) and Mingjia (re)
Add to that my manager, foreign trade delegates Dr. Moritz (Austria), his deputy Martin (Austria), Susanne (Austria) and Caroline (TW).
