Plastic Replacement For Rook Piercing

sun, sea and beach parties on Koh Phangan

On Saturday Melanie and I left Bangkok. First time we went to the airport and from there by plane to Koh Samui, a popular holiday island in the southeast of Thailand. This is a photo from the plane shortly after take-off in Bangkok. Think it looks funny, that the rice fields to go directly to the sea.

Barely an hour later we ended up on Koh Samui, with the airport looked very inviting, made of wood and really holiday standard. From there we then waited at the dock for the ferry, which we should translate to Koh Phangan. The waiting time we sold the swim and relax on the beach.

the late afternoon we arrived in Koh Phangan, which - as we had been told - is to be less touristy. After dinner, we looked for a hotel and were looking for: a bungalow right on Sunset Beach. Since it was already dark at that time, however, we arrived at the next Tomorrow it, that the beach was not very inviting for swimming. On the same evening, we strolled a bit through the (by the way but very very touristy) town of Had Rin until we see the sign "Full Moon Party" discovered. Koh Phangan is famous for its Full Moon parties, but there is also Half Moon and lots of other occasions for parties ... In principle, there's a party every night on the beach.

As a snack I bought a typical Thai Pancake, also called Roti, with banana and Nutella:

Then we moved to Sunrise Beach, where we have loud music and heard a lot of people. There gabs anywhere to buy pot, something for every taste:

was also provided for entertainment, with music and fire shows:

And so we sat down just relaxing on the beach and enjoyed the spectacle:

Sunday:

Here First a photo of the beach in front of our bungalow. Although at first glance looks quite pretty, but unfortunately the beach was dirty.

why we went to the beautiful and larger Sunrise Beach:

loan between, we are a jet ski from a couple, for 20 minutes and sat (with me at the wheel * hehe *) along the coast, to another remote bay and jumped over waves with the jet ski. Was really a mega fun and I lost my inmate only once while jumping over a larger wave.

Then we were both somewhat exhausted and our limbs still trembled from detention. Therefore, we turned briefly back to the bungalow for a shower and left us with a massage and knead well. There I got the best way by then Thai massage, really professional (but it would still have a trace can be painful).

At breakfast we met another Frenchman, with whom we met in the evening and dinner went to the beach together. There we met two other friends from him and sat down to do so. In between came by a Thai lady, We sell overpriced hats and they wanted even found two customers.

Then again, we celebrated a bit on the beach. And here you can still see my little freaky French companion dancing:

said Later, we learn that somewhere else is still a pool party where We then were going.

After Melanie then about half past 5 also finally had enough, we walked back to the Sunrise Beach. And there I saw then, here are the other side of all the fun: the boys into the sea or even directly on the beach in the middle hinpinkelten, alcohol corpses into the sea, people puking and cans and bottles everywhere on the beach (and more ...). That shocked me somehow from pretty and I also had enough of the parties and that of Westerners but very crowded island. Is not to say that it would not please me, only the Full Moon Party - that is the full version - I do not need.

Monday:

... was again the day of departure. Melanie had their ferry at 14:30, I my taxi to the first 20:30. Therefore, we first went a little shopping in the village and briefly at the beach. Here is a photo of our patio

And one of my favorite Thai dishes: Chicken Massaman

After I said goodbye to Melanie, do I only went a few photos from the beach and then I had always sought refuge in a coffee shop (conveniently with Wlan) Search because it started to pour pretty.

Here are some pictures from Koh Phangan:

At 20:30 I got my stuff from my bungalow and then waited for my taxi that I should bring to the port. Travel in Thailand is really cheap and easy. There are small travel agencies, where you can buy combination tickets. I've just bought a ticket to Koh Phi Phi by 850 baht (about 18 €), including taxi to the port, night ferry to Surat Thani to Krabi bus and ferry to Koh Phi Phi. Such was then made our ferry, very simple but nice:

And I learned something from it: airplane, too, is relatively cheap and of course quickly, but sometimes it is interesting to take a long trip by bus, train or ferry. Since you have more time to process the impressions, less stress and check-in and the whole, we see more of the landscape and it is more in Thai and not just a tourist.
