Saturday:
Saturday was departure day. We had hoped that it would rain in the night not much, otherwise it would have looked bad. Because we had to cross the river again. We had indeed the way to the river on foot to travel, but we were lucky and it was passable. Then we went back to the pickup Chiang Rai to the bus stop. On the way back we enjoyed the beautiful view of the many rice fields and hills throughout the area.
Here is the farewell picture at the bus station in Chiang Rai:

But the departure was a day earlier than stated. And To had offered us to visit him for a day in his home village, a larger Akha village between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. That I was of course quite right, and finally joined other 5 girls at the camp. First we stayed a while in Chiang Rai on a breakfast at an internet cafe and then we drove to his village. And that really was the perfect decision at the end of our camp.
Here Tos house he had set up real nice, with all materials from the jungle-market - as he always called it.
Later we went to the jungle-market in order for our dinner to "buy". There was corn, bananas, Sugar cane, peas and beans and various greens, which he found just as time in the field.
All we brought it back to the village and drove the Horde children to school. There was a soccer field where we played football with the children until it was dark.
Then There Were then dinner prepared by his mother and traditional Akha liquor and beer.
After the meal of course had to be cleaned * * g:
We had at least as much fun to midnight and sat together in front of his hut.
between, joined a small scorpion in the short round, but immediately went To the flat with a bamboo cup.
It was just the perfect ending!
Sunday:
took
After the usual rice-final breakfast we sadly bid farewell to the Akha culture and Tos home village.
To us then took the next bus stop, where our ways parted again. I took along with Melanie and Virginia the bus to Chiang Mai. But that was another new section. Review follows ....
